Temple: Kokubunji – the bell and main hall haven’t been destroyed by war, fire or natural disaster – that’s quite rare for these temples. The temple is also surrounded by walls and shuts the gates at 5pm, so don’t be late. It has nice big rocks and trees scattered around the grounds and I spent a while relaxing on one.

Dedication: Tom’s a great guy who I was at uni with. I have a strong memory of buying some green beans with him in M&S at 6am after a King’s event. It was amazing when he and Poneh got together after uni and now they’re married and have a beautiful son. Hope you’re going great Tom.
