I spent time in this market nearly every night I was in Taiwan.
So many little stalls, some with massive queues.
There’s a massive range of food, plus some gambling in the side of the stalls for good measure.
There are little tables packed in at the back where you can order if you don’t want to take away.
I had the crispy tofu with cabbage most nights, the hot mochi on shaved ice with sesame was amazing and the coated strawberries were another treat. A plate of food was always less than a pound.
