We waited for about 5 minutes for some walkers to stop titting around in the background. Then Phoebe went and sat down in it.

It was spring even though my northern-hemisphere brain kept saying it was autumn, these colours didn’t help.

A swim in the lake – amazing! I was looking forward to it as much as the girls were looking forward to paddling after a long walk round it.
