Temple: Doryuji – the founder accidentally shot a nurse with an arrow and constructed this a temple here in his grief. It’s a lovely temple with beautiful flowers everywhere.
Dedication: Yoshi (or Jay, or Lucas, depending which friends he’s with) took me out to a few interesting bars and clubs in Tokyo and introduced me to his friends. He is lots of fun. I’m thinking of you tonight Yoshi.
Picture: I’m sleeping in the rest hut on temple grounds tonight, good to have a roof as it’s going to rain. The stamp office woman was lovely and brought me osettai of sushi, bread, cream buns and green tea. Amazing. I spent an hour in the 7-eleven down the road catching up on email and now I’m heading to bed.
