Temple: Iyadaniji – this is a lovely temple spread over a mountain-side with the hondo at the very top.

Dedication: I met Jo early on at uni and she became a really great friend. I went over to stay at her place in The Hague during the holidays and did the predictable thing of getting so stoned I could hardly move during the first meal her parents cooked for me. We had a lot of fun together but drifted apart after uni. Hope you’re well Jo.

I met a nice beardy British cyclist on the route today who was cycling the whole thing with a couple of friends. It’s been a while since I heard an English accent.

It’s getting really hot during the day and I might start resting for an hour or two around noon.

I also got a lovely bottle of osettai tea at supermarket from an older couple. It gets easy to take osettai for granted bit it really is remarkable how many different people have given me gifts and how generous they’ve been.
