Temple: Kakurinji

I met another nojuku aruite henro (walking pilgrim who is sleeping outside) on the way up to this mountain temple. His name was Yu which was quite confusing as he said “You are Marc, I am Yu”. He was dressed head to foot in white and was immaculate. My single white top is now crumpled and covered in exploding tomato osettai.

Picture: what an amazing view, I thought. The sign next to the view said the next temple was across the bridge and on top of the mountain to the right. Great.
